Infrastructure Development Secretary Bishwababu Poudasaini stated that the upcoming year's budget will prioritize completing ongoing and incomplete projects, particularly those with 60-75 percent completion. Approximately 2 billion rupees are needed for about 600 projects, and a similar amount is requested for new programs and DPR preparation across 77 districts. While a 15 billion rupee budget increase was proposed, the Ministry of Finance indicated only a 5 billion rupee addition.
