Line ministries are now required to initiate procurement and publish tenders within two months, before the fiscal year ends in mid-July. Major allocations include funding for the Postal Highway, Kaligandaki Corridor, and Karnali Corridor projects, with a warning that funding assurances will expire if procurement does not begin this fiscal year.
