AI Boom Propels SK Hynix and Micron Past $1 Trillion Market Capitalization

The boom in artificial intelligence (AI) data centers has propelled semiconductor companies SK Hynix and Micron past $1 trillion in market capitalization. SK Hynix, a key supplier to Nvidia, saw its share price more than triple this year. Micron's shares also rose significantly after UBS tripled its target price. Both companies have joined tech giants like Amazon, Apple, Microsoft, Alphabet, and Meta in the $1 trillion club. Samsung Electronics also recently entered this group, reaching a market value of approximately $1.34 trillion.
