Lawmakers of the Shram Sanskriti Party demanded that the Prime Minister and ministers be regularly present in House of Representatives meetings to answer questions. Party Chairperson Harka Raj Rai urged the government to address issues of border security and landless squatters, especially with Prime Minister Balendra Shah overseeing both the Home and Defense Ministries. The party had previously protested with placards demanding government accountability to parliament.
