Air France and Airbus blamed for plane crash that killed 228 people
A Paris court has found Air France and Airbus wholly responsible for the 2009 crash of AF-447, which killed 228 people. After initially being acquitted in April 2023, both companies were found guilty following an eight-week trial. The companies have denied the allegations and plan to appeal the decision.
