Medical Council reverses license scrapping of NRN doctors

The Nepal Medical Council has suspended its decision to cancel the licenses of 36 non-resident Nepali doctors who had obtained foreign citizenship, following strong criticism. The council will now invite these doctors to register under a separate category. The earlier decision had caused confusion and concern among Nepali-origin doctors abroad.
