Indian national arrested with gold

An Indian national, Param Pathak, was arrested at the Kakarbhitta customs checkpoint with 570 grams of gold worth over 14 million rupees and 20,000 US dollars. The Armed Police Force Nepal also confiscated Indian currency from him. Pathak has been handed over to the Kakarbhitta Area Police Office for legal proceedings at the Jhapa District Court.
