Both houses of Parliament to meet today; economic survey to be tabled

Both houses of the Federal Parliament are scheduled to convene today, with the House of Representatives meeting at 11:00 AM and the National Assembly at 1:15 PM. Finance Minister Dr. Swarnim Wagle will present the Economic Survey for the fiscal year 2026/27. The House of Representatives will also discuss the 'Intangible Cultural Heritage (Protection) Bill, 2024' and the 'Motion Picture Bill, 2026', while the National Assembly will deliberate on the 'Alternative Development Finance Mobilization Bill, 2026'. Additionally, a parliamentary committee will meet to discuss the supply of chemical fertilizers.
