Nepal stock market gains 27.85 points, Turnover reaches Rs 5.98 billion
The Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) index rose by 27.85 points to close at 2,786.35, driven by widespread buying across most sectors, with hydropower leading the gains. Out of 235 traded companies, a majority saw their share prices increase, with Threestar Hydropower being the top performer. Total turnover reached Rs 5.98 billion, with Aankhu Khola Hydropower Company recording the highest transactions. Despite the overall positive trend, 28 companies experienced losses, and Bungul Hydropower saw the steepest decline.
