Nepal Resolves Tea Export Issue with India, Expands Diplomatic and Consular Initiatives

Nepal's Ministry of Foreign Affairs announced that diplomatic efforts have resolved obstacles affecting Nepali tea exports to India, stemming from revised guidelines by India's Tea Board. The ministry also confirmed that the third Nepal-China Project Implementation Mechanism meeting will occur in Kathmandu in June, co-chaired by Nepal's Foreign Secretary and China's ambassador. Rescue operations for Nepalis stranded in online scam centers near Cambodia, Myanmar, Laos, and Thailand are ongoing, with 687 individuals repatriated so far.
