Westerly Winds Trigger Light Rainfall Likely Across Hill Regions of Koshi, Bagmati and Gandaki

Westerly and local wind systems are affecting Nepal’s weather, with the Meteorological Forecasting Division (MFD) predicting light rainfall and thundershowers in the hilly regions of Koshi, Bagmati, and Gandaki provinces. Partly to generally cloudy conditions are expected, with a stronger change in the hill and mountain regions of Bagmati, Gandaki, and Karnali provinces. A caution has been issued for possible hailstorms in parts of the Terai belt of Madhes and Koshi provinces.
