Rain and thunder strike four provinces; heat wave alert issued for West Nepal
Rain, thunder, and lightning are affecting Bagmati, Gandaki, Madhesh, and Koshi provinces, including the Kathmandu Valley. Lum in Solukhumbu recorded significant rainfall. Western Nepal faces extreme conditions with high temperatures in Sudurpashchim and Lumbini hills, and a heat wave alert for their Terai plains. Strong winds are also predicted for southern Terai regions.
