A group of 17 individuals with spinal cord paralysis in Biratnagar has established the Saathi Footwear Cottage Industry to become entrepreneurs. The Biratnagar Metropolitan City has allocated a budget for a one-month vocational training program for 20 citizens with spinal cord paralysis. The local government has assured support in the form of seed capital for the enterprise.
