The National Sports Council (NSC) has unconditionally lifted the three-month suspension imposed on the All Nepal Football Association (ANFA), ending a deadlock in Nepali football. The decision followed a meeting between Minister of Education and Sports Sasmit Pokharel, NSC officials, and ANFA representatives. FIFA and the Asian Football Confederation had previously warned of potential sanctions due to government interference, and the lifting of the ban ensures Nepal's women's team can participate in the SAFF Women's Championship.
