NC raises questions over Speaker’s role

Nepali Congress Chief Whip Nishkal Rai stated that the government has been evading accountability to Parliament, despite repeated efforts by opposition parties. Rai criticized the Speaker for not supporting opposition calls for the Prime Minister's presence and response, and objected to the Speaker deeming protests undignified, recalling similar actions by the current ruling party when in opposition.
