MP Janak Singh Dhami Demands Strong Embankments for Dodha and Chaudhar Rivers

MP Janak Singh Dhami has demanded that the government construct strong embankments along the Dodha and Chaudhar rivers to protect residents of Kanchanpur Constituency No. 1 from floods, land erosion, and inundation during the rainy season. He highlighted the risk to the Rana-Tharu community, the barrenness of land, and the displacement of people, also requesting the area be declared a Rana Tharu Protected Area.
