Upgrading begins on Jomsom-Kagbeni road

The Beni-Jomsom-Korala Road Project has begun upgrading the 9-kilometer Jomsom-Kagbeni road section, a key route linking north and south through Korala, under an annual contract worth around Rs 70 million. The project aims to improve and protect the road connecting Muktinath and the Korala border point, making it more sustainable and safer for transportation. Kalimata-Thapakaji-Rasuwa JV Construction has been awarded the contract, with work expected to be completed within four months.
