The District Police Office in Birgunj organized a public awareness event as part of the 8th Global Road Safety Week to reduce road accidents. The event, held from Maisthan to Ghantagar, aimed to educate drivers, pedestrians, and rickshaw pullers about traffic rules. Officials believe the awareness drive, which includes school campaigns, will help decrease the rising number of road accident fatalities.
