Two Dead, One Missing After 5.2 Magnitude Earthquake Hits Southern China

A 5.2 magnitude earthquake struck Liuzhou city in China's Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region early Monday, killing two people and leaving one missing. The China Earthquake Networks Center reported the quake occurred at 12:21 a.m. local time with its epicenter in Liunan District at a depth of eight kilometers. Emergency response teams were mobilized, and both regional and national emergency response levels were activated to coordinate rescue efforts and disaster management.
