National Sports Council recalls CAN spokesperson Chumbi Lama

The National Sports Council (NSC) has recalled Chumbi Lama from his role as spokesperson for the Cricket Association of Nepal (CAN), withdrawing him as a CAN representative member. Lama, who was nominated on April 11, 2024, has been recalled shortly after his appointment. The NSC cited Section 3(4) of the approved statute of CAN as the basis for the decision, which has been communicated to relevant ministries and the CAN. The official letter did not specify the reason for his recall.
