He urged the government to activate crucial institutions like the Truth and Reconciliation Commission by appointing competent individuals. Angdembe also noted the necessity of amending the Truth and Reconciliation Act before making new appointments, as conflict victims remain deprived of justice two decades after the Comprehensive Peace Accord.
