PHC approves Dr. Sharma as Chief Justice

The Parliamentary Hearing Committee (PHC) has unanimously approved Dr. Manoj Kumar Sharma for the position of Chief Justice of the Supreme Court. Following a parliamentary hearing, the committee president, Bodh Narayan Shrestha, announced the endorsement. Dr. Sharma was previously recommended for the post by the Constitutional Council, and the PHC also considered complaints registered against him during the hearing.
