Budget 2026/27: Rs 218 Billion For Education, 101 Billion For Health, 15 Billion For Health Insurance

The government has allocated Rs 218 billion for the education sector and Rs 101 billion for the health sector, including Rs 15 billion for health insurance. Finance Minister Swarnim Wagle announced that the budget aims to bring 90 percent of the population under health insurance coverage within the next three years.
