Congress Leader Bishwa Prakash Sharma Claims Leadership of Koshi Province Government

Nepali Congress Vice-President Vishwa Prakash Sharma stated that the party will lead the Koshi Province government, amidst preparations for a leadership change as per an agreement between the UML and Congress. Currently, the UML leads the government, with Congress holding four ministries. Sharma proposed Uddhav Thapa as the next Chief Minister from Congress, aiming to strengthen his group and weaken leader Krishna Prasad Sitaula. Internal party discussions and factional disputes are ongoing regarding the parliamentary party leader and Chief Minister position.
