Nepal is seeking removal from the Financial Action Task Force (FATF) grey list, with discussions held between the Commission for the Investigation of Abuse of Authority (CIAA) and a visiting delegation from the Asia Pacific Group on Money Laundering (APG). The APG urged Nepal to accelerate reforms and strengthen compliance measures, particularly in completing the national risk assessment and implementing the revised action plan. Exiting the grey list remains a national priority for the government.
