Bishwaraj Panthi, an Accounts Officer at the National Vigilance Centre, died on his way to the religious site Badimalika. Panthi, 56, suddenly fainted during the trek and was declared dead despite efforts to revive him. Preliminary investigations suggest pre-existing heart conditions may have contributed to his death due to the strenuous uphill journey.
