Armed Group Abducts 39 Students, 7 Teachers in Nigeria

An armed group has abducted 39 students and 7 teachers from schools in Nigeria's southwestern Oyo state. The coordinated attack targeted multiple schools, with most abductees being children. While a teacher was killed and six suspects arrested, a rescue operation faced challenges due to explosives. Governor Oluseyi Abiodun Makinde stated that injured security personnel are receiving treatment.
