Militants In Nigeria Kidnap Dozens Of Children

Armed men have abducted dozens of schoolchildren, estimated between 35 and 43 pupils, from a primary school in Musa village, Borno State, northeastern Nigeria. The attack occurred shortly after Nigerian army forces departed the town. The gunmen arrived on motorcycles and took children from a primary school and kindergarten, including an infant. Nigeria has been combating armed organizations for 17 years, with kidnappings frequently employed as a tactic.
