Two APF officials successfully claiming Mt Sagarmatha get promotion

Two female personnel of Nepal’s Armed Police Force (APF), Assistant Sub-Inspector Nim Dikki Sherpa and Assistant Head Constable Anita Karki, are set to receive one-rank promotions for successfully climbing Mount Sagarmatha and Mount Lhotse. APF Central Spokesperson and Deputy Inspector General Bishnu Prasad Bhatt confirmed that Sherpa, who summited both peaks, will be promoted immediately, while Karki, a Sagarmatha summiteer, will be promoted after completing her service period. Inspector General of Armed Police Force Narayan Dutta Poudel congratulated the climbers for hoisting the national and organizational flags on the world's highest peaks.
