Speaker Dol Prasad Aryal has shared that legislators should pay attention in making laws suitable to the nation and citizens. At a programme ‘Legislative and Non-legislative practices in parliamentary committees’ organised by the Former MP’s Forum, Nepal today, he presented the example how the practice of drafting bills has not been able to address practicality. It is found that some of the bills drafted without involving users of the laws have failed to incorporate our geographical and awareness level, he argued.
