Transport Association Chief Stresses Technology and Discipline for Sector Improvement

Saroj Sitaula, Chairman of the Nepal Transport Entrepreneurs National Federation, stressed the need for technology and discipline in the public transport sector, advocating for mandatory GPS, online ticketing, and cashless payments. He urged the use of designated bus parks and regular monitoring of highway hotels for hygiene and pricing. Sitaula affirmed the federation's stance against drunk driving and demanded standards for workshops and spare parts to improve road safety and passenger welfare.
