176,000 receive services from KMC health centers

Kathmandu Metropolitan City (KMC) health promotion centers have provided services to 176,291 people in the current fiscal year up to the end of Chaitra. Outpatient (OPD) services were received by 73,504 people, a significant increase from previous years. KMC estimates nearly 240,000 people will receive health services this fiscal year and has allocated 3.9 percent of its budget to the health sector, focusing on service delivery and system strengthening.
