Ministry Enhances Hotline 1151 for Effective Grievance Resolution

The Ministry of Energy, Water Resources and Irrigation has enhanced its hotline 1151 to be more effective in resolving public complaints, particularly regarding electricity services. Since March 29, over 10,392 complaints have been received, with most related to electrical accidents, power outages, and low voltage. The ministry, under Minister Biraj Bhakta Shrestha, is actively coordinating with concerned bodies, including personal secretarial involvement, to ensure prompt problem-solving and improve public trust in government services.
