Koshi government’s policy and programmes passed unanimously

The Koshi Province Assembly unanimously passed the policies and programmes for the upcoming fiscal year 2026/27. Koshi Province Chief Parashu Ram Khapung had presented the policies and programmes on May 21. The motion was passed without any objections from opposition party lawmakers. Chief Minister Hikmat Kumar Karki stated that the government is committed to maintaining good governance and providing quality service, and that constructive advice from assembly members would be adopted. He also clarified that while words might be repeated, the programs themselves are not, and that ordinances should be brought legally.
