Nepal Telecom Launches 4G Connectivity in Remote Upper Dolpa’s Kagkot for First Time

Nepal Telecom has launched 4G network service for the first time in Kagkot, the headquarters of Chharka Tangsong Rural Municipality in Dolpa, using a microwave radio link from a tower at 4,200 meters altitude. This expansion brings 4G connectivity to the Upper Dolpa region, although service has not yet reached other rural municipalities in Dolpa and Manang. The company stated that 4G service is now available in 750 local levels nationwide.
