Tamil Nadu CM Vijay waives INR 50,000 crop loans for small farmers

Tamil Nadu Chief Minister Joseph Vijay has announced a waiver of crop loans up to INR 50,000 for small and marginal farmers from cooperative banks. An additional INR 5,000 relief package will be provided to larger farmers who have availed crop loans from cooperative banks. This decision is expected to benefit approximately 14.22 lakh farmers and aims to ease financial stress in the farming community.
