Bridge construction over Seti-Madi takes pace after six yrs

Construction of a 155-meter long steel truss motorable bridge over the Seti-Madi river, connecting Vyas Municipality-3 and Rishing Rural Municipality-1 in Tanahu district, has gained momentum. The project, which began in 2020 and is a pride project of the Gandaki provincial government costing Rs. 324 million, has achieved 70% physical progress. All steel parts for the bridge truss have arrived at the site, with pillar and foundation work already completed. Locals have expressed concerns over previous delays, and the construction company has been directed to expedite the work for timely completion.
