Construction of the 400 kV Hetauda-Dhalkebar-Duhabi transmission line has resumed after being obstructed by local dissatisfaction. Minister for Energy, Water Resources and Irrigation, Biraj Bhakta Shrestha, initiated efforts that have accelerated the project. The Nepal Electricity Authority reported that tower construction is progressing after landowners accepted compensation following discussions, resolving issues related to compensation and land disputes that had halted the project for years.
