Government Significantly Cuts Agriculture Budget for Upcoming Fiscal Year

The government has significantly reduced the budget for the agriculture and livestock sector for the upcoming fiscal year 2083/084, allocating NPR 46.92 billion compared to NPR 57.48 billion in the current fiscal year 2082/83. This reduction of NPR 10.5 billion comes after Finance Minister Dr. Swarnim Wagle allocated a substantial budget for chemical fertilizers.
