Ministry of Agriculture, Forest and Environment Receives NPR 61.23 Billion Budget

The Ministry of Agriculture, Forest and Environment has been allocated a budget of NPR 61.23 billion for the fiscal year 2083/84, as announced by Finance Minister Dr. Swarnim Wagle. Of this total, NPR 46.93 billion is designated for agriculture and NPR 12.21 billion for forest and environment. This ministry is a result of the merger between the former Ministry of Agriculture and Livestock Development and the Ministry of Forest and Environment, and is currently headed by Gita Chaudhary.
