The play “Achheta” is running at Shilpee Theatre, portraying life, struggle, and social injustice rooted in Karnali. Produced by Kala Ghar and written and directed by Govinda Sunar, the play highlights issues such as the caste system, religious oppression, superstition, and state neglect faced by marginalized communities. The story centers on Dal Kami, a Dalit artisan and shaman, whose life takes a tragic turn due to a lack of medical facilities and government support.
