Justice Malla takes 20-day leave after new Chief Justice appointment

Senior Supreme Court Justice Sapana Pradhan Malla has taken a 20-day leave after Manoj Kumar Sharma was appointed Chief Justice. Malla, who had been serving as Acting Chief Justice, reportedly took leave after being overlooked despite being the senior-most justice. Sharma formally assumed office after taking his oath before President Ram Chandra Paudel.
