Limbu language enforced as official working language
Mangsebung rural municipality in Ilam has enforced the 'Limbu language' as its official working language, utilizing rights granted by the Constitution and the Local Government Operation Act. The decision was formally declared by Chairperson Hemant Rai in the presence of Province Chief Parshuram Khapung. This move is based on the linguistic majority within the municipality, which has a significant Limbu and Rai population.
