Red Panda Health Study Launched in Myagdi's Dhorpatan Reserve
A health study of endangered red pandas has commenced in the Jaljala and Dhorpatan Hunting Reserve areas of Myagdi's Dhaulagiri Rural Municipality. The Biodiversity Conservation Society Nepal (BIOCOS), with support from Toledo Zoo, is conducting the research, which involves fecal examination and camera trap data analysis to assess the species' health and estimate population numbers.
