Minister for Information and Communication Dr. Bikram Timilsina has instructed government-run media agencies to expedite annual audits and the recovery of outstanding arrears. The directive aims to improve institutional transparency and financial accountability, with specific attention to overdue payments and pending audits for Gorkhapatra Corporation and Public Service Broadcasting Nepal.

The Government of Nepal, through the Ministry of Communications and Information Technology, has initiated a competitive selection process by inviting applications for vacant leadership positions. These include the Chairperson of the Press Council Nepal, the General Manager of Gorkhapatra Corporation, and the Chairperson of the Public Service Broadcasting Organization. The application deadline is set for Jestha 18, 2083.
