Prime Minister Balendra Shah met with non-resident ambassadors and heads of missions from European Union member nations to discuss Nepal's current priorities, strengthen bilateral relations, and explore areas of cooperation. The meeting, held at the Office of the Prime Minister and Council of Ministers, was described by press advisor Deepa Dahal as an opportunity to inform diplomats about Nepal's objectives.

The Ministry of Health and Population is prioritizing the clearance of over Rs 5 billion in arrears, primarily focusing on major hospitals like BP Koirala Institute of Health Sciences and Bir Hospital. Secretary Bikash Devkota stated that a special review and targeted clearance mechanism will be implemented, with reforms in procurement and financial management being essential to reduce future arrears. The Office of the Prime Minister and Council of Ministers also emphasized the need for a structured action plan to significantly reduce arrears.

A taskforce, coordinated by Asim Shah, political advisor to Prime Minister Balendra Shah, has begun consulting with political figures to gather suggestions for a discussion paper on constitution amendment. The consultations, held at the Office of the Prime Minister and Council of Ministers, include leaders and experts from both ruling and opposition parties.

The government has established a five-member inquiry committee to investigate issues related to music royalty, copyright, and intellectual property. Headed by Laxman Bidari, the committee was formed by the Ministry of Culture, Tourism and Civil Aviation following attention from the Office of the Prime Minister and Council of Ministers. It is tasked with submitting recommendations within 10 days.
