A dispute over the construction of a temporary police post on the Humla-Bajura border escalated into a clash between locals, resulting in five injuries. The conflict arose when Humla locals obstructed the construction, claiming the site was on their side of the district border near Kawari Khola. Following the incident, the Home Ministry instructed a halt to construction, and higher-level discussions are planned to resolve the border issue.

A landslide in Nepka village, Changkheli Rural Municipality-5, Humla district, damaged a basic school building and buried livestock sheds on Tuesday night. The incident followed hailstone and rainfall, according to local resident Chhakka Bahadur Tamang. Details of the full extent of losses are still being awaited by authorities.
