A mine collapse in Angola's Nambuangongo Municipality resulted in at least 28 fatalities, with two individuals still missing and search operations ongoing. Separately, two young boys drowned in the Sunkoshi River in Nepal's Sindhuli district, and their bodies were recovered by a joint search team. In the United States, a stampede in Atlantic Beach, South Carolina, during Black Bike Week injured 19 people, with three requiring hospitalization.
