Month-long Purushottam Maas fair begins at Matsyanarayan Temple in Kathmandu

A month-long Purushottam Maas, also known as Adhik Maas or Malmas Mela, has commenced at the Matsyanarayan Temple in Machhegaun, Kathmandu. The religious fair attracts hundreds of thousands of devotees who believe worshipping Lord Narayan during this period cleanses sins and brings spiritual merit. The temple's main attractions include a golden Garuda entrance and a one-foot-tall idol of Lord Matsyanarayan.
