• The budget for fiscal year 2083/84 (2026/27) will be guided by five key principles: 'Dividend of Good Governance', 'Economic Restructuring', 'Integrated Infrastructure for Connectivity', 'Universal Social Advancement and Expansion of the Middle Class', and 'Strengthening Soft Power'.
• The government plans to implement a 'single-window, time-bound and digital' administrative system, integrating processes like business registration, tax administration, and payments onto digital platforms.
• Public services such as citizenship, health, education, banking, social security, and land administration will be made accessible through integrated digital platforms and the Nagarik App.
• The budget will redirect limited public resources and private investment towards high-return and employment-generating sectors including agriculture, tourism, energy, information technology, and services.
• The government intends to reduce bureaucratic delays and middlemen in public service systems through institutional reforms.
